Check Eligibility for UK eTA

Citizens of European Union member states will be eligible to apply for a UK ETA starting March 5, 2025. Travel to the UK using an ETA will be required from April 2, 2025.

You currently do not need an electronic travel authorization (ETA) to travel to the UK. Check what you will need again before you travel. You can stay in the UK as a tourist for up to 6 months without a visa, but you must meet the Standard Visitor eligibility requirements.
